이 나라를 아시나요?

36년간 다른나라의 식민지...1950년대 전쟁으로 페허가 된 땅...
그래서 1인당 국민소득이 50달러로 전세계에서 가장 가난한 나라중에 한나라...

전쟁때 이 나라를 도우기 위해 미국에서 온 맥아더 장군은 다음과 같이 말했습니다.

"전쟁으로 페허가 된 이 나라가 다시 원래의 모습을

되찾기 위해서는 100년이 걸릴것이다." >

영국의 한 신문사는 이 나라에 대해서 다음과 같이 평가했습니다.

"36년간 일본 식민지에, 남북간 이념 대립에, 이제는 전쟁까지 하고 있는 이 나라가 제 발로 서기를
바라느니 쓰레기 더미에서 장미꽃이 피는 것을 바라겠다."

1960년, 이 나라의 국민소득이 67달러에 불과했을 때

아프리카 가나는 100달러, 필리핀은 이미 200달러를 넘어서 있었습니다.

This country has been another country's colony for 36 years.
During the 1950s this country was ruined because of war.
During the 1950s its the national income was $50, which was one of the
lowest incomes in the world.

During the war, General MacArthur, who came to help the country from America commented,

“It will take 100 years for this country to recover from the war.”

English newspaper eval‎uated this country like this.

“One would rather hope to grow flower from trash heap than see this
country, which went through 36 years of colonial period and war, rise.”

When this country's national income became $67 during 1960s, Ghana
and Philippine's national income surpassed $100 and $200.”

그러나 이 나라는 1950년 전쟁 이후 반세기만에 국민소득 380배, GDP 750배로 성장시킨 세계 유일한
나라가 되었습니다. 1960년대까지 최빈곤국 자격으로 국제사회의 지원을 받았던 이 나라가 1996년에는 전세계 선진국들의 모임인 경제협력개발기구(OECD) 회원국이 되었습니다.

2007년 이나라의 국민소득은 1인당 2만달러를 넘어서 세계 10위의 경제 대국으로 성장했습니다. 이 나라의 철강, 반도체, 자동차, 선박, 핸드폰등의 제품은 세계 제일의 자리를 차지하고 있습니다

This country became the only country in the world to raise the national income by 380 and the GDP by 750 times in half a century after the war in 1950.

During the 2010s, this country's national income passed $20000 and became the 10th economically strongest country in the world.

 

This country's steel, semiconductor, automobile, vessel, and cellphone
products are now emerging as one of the best in the world.

이 나라는 2010년 1월1일자로 경제 협력개발기구(OECD)의 개발원조위원회(DAC) 회원 자격을

얻었습니다. 개발원조위원회는 선진국으로서 아프리카, 아시아등 다른나라의 어려움을

도와주는 공식 국가임을 증명합니다.

1961년 OECD출범 이후 "받는 나라"에서 "주는나라"로 변신한 유일한 나라가 되었습니다.

이 나라는 세계 2차대전후 독립한 140여 국가 중 민주화와 산업화를 동시에 이룬 유일한 나라입니다.

60년대 아프리카 가나와 같은 수준의 이 나라가 불과 60년만에

선진국 반열에 올라서 지구촌이 처한 어려움을 향해 봉사하는 국가로 성장했습니다.

현재 이 나라는 미국과 일본에 이어 세계 3위의 해외 자원봉사자를 파견하는

국가가 되었습니다

As of January 1st 2010, this country earned membership into the OECD and DAC. DAC consists of developed countries, helping countries in Asia and Africa that are in need.

 

After establishment of OECD in 1960s, this country became the only one to transform from a "Needing country" to a "Giving country" >

 

After independence of more than 140 countries following World War II, this country became the only one to achieve democratization and industrialization at the same time.

This country, which was economically the same as Ghana during the 1960s, became one of the advanced countries to help needy countries in 60 years.

 

Now, this country is third in the world to send volunteer workers following USA and Japan.

2007년도 세계최고의 명성을 자랑하는 금융 투자기관인 골드만 삭스는 이 나라에 대해 다음과 같이
전망했습니다.

"2007년도 이 나라의 경제규모는 국내총생산(GDP) 8140억 달러로 세계 11위이나
2025년에 가면 9대 강국으로 부상할 것이다.더 나아가 2050년에는 1인당 GDP 8만1000달러를 기록,

일본과 독일을 따돌리고 미국에 이어 세계 2위를 기록할것이다"

In 2007, the Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE:GS), which is one of the well known finance investment companies in the world, stated;

 

"In 2007, this country's GDP will be $814 billion which is 11th in the world and in 2025, this country will become 9th strongest country in the world. Furthermore in 2050, the GDP per person will become $81000. Korea’s GDP would outcompete that of Japan and Germany becoming the second in the world following USA.”
