This novel is set in New York, 1920s, when Jazz was the trend and prohibition of alcohol became effective.

And it also shows and criticizes the time that the United States was enjoying its richness but corrupted morally and ethically, through the fall of one man who had built everything for one love.

What I'm impressed is the description of this book.

Through 부터 시작하는 문장이 좀 애매한데 만약 저 문단을 저 남자를 통해 미국이 corrupted 됐다는걸 말하고싶었던 거였으면 저 뒷 문장을 먼저오게하면 더 좋을거같아!
